Manager, Network SecurityRole OverviewFinastra is currently seeking a Manager,Network Security, to jointhe Network Engineeringorganization. Reporting toSenior Director, Network Engineering and Implementation,this positionis responsible fornetwork securitysolutioningand incident responseforthe Finastra enterprise.The chosen leaderwillpartnerwith internal teams,stakeholders,and vendors todesign,deliver,maintain,and enhanceFinastra'snetwork securitycapabilities.The ideal candidate should beforward-thinking, dedicated and detail-oriented witha strong desireto work within adynamic andcollaborative environment.Must haveleadershipexperience managing a globally dispersed teamofhigh performingengineers.KeyResponsibilitiesContribute to Finastra's modernization program for network securityas functional excellence leader.Partner with Security Engineering andITArchitectureleaders to overseedesign and delivery ofenterprise-grade network security solutions.Contribute to roadmap development workstreams that align with overarching business goals of Finastra.Proof of concept and pilotNextGennetwork security capabilitiesthat include cloud nativetechnologies.Work directly with InfoSec and Network Engineering teams to develop and enhance network solutions that improve Finastra's security posture.Partner with technology vendors and procurement peers tovalidatefinancial costs - capital and expense, statement of work (terms and conditions) that represent network security solutions.Design and Standards: Accountable for design and implementation standards for all network security capabilities deployed globally across the enterprise.Adhere to IT Service Management policy and procedures for return to service tasks, problem management, and change control activities.Accountable for globalfirewallinfrastructure and security tool maintenance.Ensure that runbooks are published for routine maintenance activities.Maintain technical configuration documents and lead the review/update of processes and procedures related to network security services.Ensure that team members compile Microsoft Visio diagrams that depict network security architecture and low-level design.Manage cross-functional network security initiatives with teams from DevOps, IT, and Product Development.Proven ability to create network security proposalsin Microsoft PowerPoint for executive consumption.Be availableforOn-Callafter hours support asfirst line escalation point.Accountable for24x7x365 network security incident and responseneedsof Finastra.Network security control ownerfor audit and compliance needs.Coach, mentor, and develop talentwithin the Network Security team.Rolerequiresoccasional travel,up to 10%Technical SkillsFoundationalknowledge of networking and data communication fundamentals includingconnectivity methods, security functions,and routing/switchingprotocolsFunctionalknowledge of internetworking standardsand network security management toolsFunctionalknowledge ofOSI modelFundamental Networking principles (TCP/IP, Routing Protocols,etc.)Technicalexpertisewith load-balancer technologiesandweb applicationfirewallWorking experience with the following:applicationfirewallinspection, intrusion detection/prevention, dynamic web filtering, internet proxy,firewallmanagementand audit toolsMicro segmentation knowledge and deployment experience desiredMicrosoft Azure experiencedesiredPrior management role in the FinTech vertical desired.Required Experience:4-year undergraduate degreeor8 yearsequivalentwork experience3-year minimum,people management experience(global preferred)Problem solving/troubleshooting abilitiesRisk analysis and mitigation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills - oral and writtenIntermediatefinancial and accounting knowledge - amortization, depreciation, CAPEX/OPEXProven success as Implementation ManagerProficient usingMicrosoft Office products- Word, Excel, and PowerPointDetail and results orientedWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
