Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced ERP Functional Consultant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry, possessing both functional (70%) and technical (30%) expertise. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience working with ERP applications and Advanced Planning Systems (APS) across discrete manufacturing and supply chain domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure, and support APS tools such as SAP APO, Oracle APS, Plan Visage, Dynamics, etc.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document APS and ERP requirements.

- Lead and manage end-to-end business process cycles for Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Job Work (Subcontracting), Demand & Supply Planning, Response & Supply, and S&OP.

- Drive integration of APS solutions with core ERP systems to improve forecasting, planning, and supply chain responsiveness.

- Design and optimize APS configuration for better efficiency in production planning and scheduling.

- Conduct scenario planning, identify system gaps, and recommend improvements.

- Provide training and ongoing support to business users.

- Monitor APS & ERP system performance and address technical and functional issues promptly.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.

- Support reporting needs and dashboard configurations related to APS and manufacturing processes.

Key Skills and Competencies :

- Strong domain expertise in :

1. Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Construction/Mining industries

2. Supply Chain Management (SCM), Sales & Marketing (S&M), Production Planning & Control (PPC)

3. APS Tools Experience : SAP APO, Oracle APS, Plan Visage, Microsoft Dynamics

- Deep understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, and production scheduling

- Knowledge of scenario planning and optimization in supply chain functions

- Proven ability to work with customized and standard ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, Logility)

- Strong client-facing skills with experience in requirements gathering and solution design

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field

- Relevant ERP/APS certifications (SAP APO, Oracle, etc.) will be a strong advantage

- Experience in handling complex ERP implementations in manufacturing sectors
