About the Role :

We are hiring a Principal Machine Learning Scientist to lead large-scale ML initiatives in the AdTech domain. This role involves developing and deploying advanced algorithms in personalization, ranking, targeting, and relevance optimization, directly influencing user engagement and revenue at scale. You will also lead and mentor a team of ML scientists, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy ML algorithms for personalization, targeting, ranking, and relevance optimization.

- Build models for query understanding, click-through optimization, and recommendations.

- Provide technical leadership across ML pipelines, architecture, and deployment.

- Lead and mentor a team of ML scientists, ensuring best practices across experimentation and deployment.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Data/DevOps teams.

- Drive innovation by adopting latest advancements in NLP, ANN, transformers, and AdTech ML.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software/ML engineering, with at least 8+ years in Data Science.

- Strong expertise in AdTech with focus on ranking, relevance, personalization, query understanding.

- Experience leading ML teams and deploying large-scale ML models in production.

- Hands-on expertise in text classifiers, vector search, ANN algorithms, transformers, ranking algorithms (LambdaMART, boosting methods).

- Deep understanding of A/B testing, experimentation design and analysis.

- Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and stakeholder management experience.

- Prior AdTech experience preferred.
