Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Performance Test Lead to lead performance testing efforts, develop test strategies, and ensure applications meet scalability, stability, and reliability benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end performance testing efforts for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
  • Define performance testing strategies, test plans, and workload models.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad.
  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Developers, and Business teams to define performance KPIs.
  • Set up and maintain performance test environments (cloud/on-prem).
  • Generate detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior performance testers in the team.
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or other major performance testing tools.
  • Good knowledge of APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in analyzing server logs, heap/thread dumps, and profiling.
  • Hands-on with scripting in Java, Python, or Shell (a plus).
  • Familiar with REST APIs, web protocols (HTTP, WebSocket), and DB performance tuning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in performance testing and analysis.
  • Certification in performance testing tools or ISTQB (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred:
  • Experience in performance testing microservices and containerized applications (Docker/K8s).
  • Prior experience leading small QA teams.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and working in sprints.
