As our newly appointed Finance Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will take accountability for accounts receivable within the Crayon finance team, providing support to the internal team in managing a high-volume ledger of customers and partners, liaising regularly with customers and accounts departments, following up on incoming payments, setting up accounts, performing credit checks and reporting to the Management on reconciliations, debts, and cash flow.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Support team to receive all incoming payments, arranging messenger for timely cheque collection and physical banking of cheques while working closely with external sales team for account reconciliation
  • Contact partners to establish payment dates to forecast cash flow, obtain PO’s and remit invoices for timely payment to the relevant department
  • Issue statements on request to all partners across all regions, inputting relevant information and filtering as required before sending them out
  • Manage the ‘on-hold’ process when partners default; liaise with Account Managers or Operations where established relationships are relevant and involvement is required


Your Competencies:

  • At least 4 years’ similar work experience
  • Proven Accounts Receivable track record of accuracy and meeting SLAs in a business-to-business customer service environment, preferably within a fast-growing, small to medium-regional business
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer) including strong MS Excel skills; Accounting Systems (e.g. MYOB, MS Navision)
  • Microsoft CRM & AX experience preferred
