Credit Analyst

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude.
Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years of equipment financing experience and should be able to review financial leasing applications for specific information, including risk, capacity and character to determine credit worthiness along with conducting financial statement analysis as part of credit review and recommendation.
The ideal candidate should understand the market, industry, and economic trends, utilizing various systems, credit reporting agencies, and other sources to determine credit worthiness.
The successful candidate should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. You should be comfortable with changing schedules and deadlines as the workplace is very fast paced and constantly adjusting to meet the needs of clients. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is a key to success in this position along with being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
The required candidate is someone who has these skills and can answer YES to the following:
- Do you have a minimum of 2 years of equipment finance experience with a broker or lender?
- Do you have strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit evaluations?
- Do you have experience with financial modelling, business plans, and projections?
- Do you have familiarity with credit bureau reports and bank statement reviews?
- Are you able to conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements?
- Are you able to assess financial ratios, trends, and overall financial health to determine credit worthiness?
- Do you have a College or University degree in Business or equivalent experience and training in related industry?
- Are you able to identify potential risks and red flags that may impact the client's ability to repay loans?
- Do you have a high level of critical and logical thinking to identify underlying principles, reasons, facts, and any potential fraud situations?
- Are you capable of effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders, along with customers on any inquiries?
- Are you able to provide insights and recommendations based on comprehensive financial analysis to support lending decisions?
- Do you have strong organizational skills with the capacity to efficiently work independently and as part of a team?
- Are you tech savvy and like to keep up-to-date with new industry tools and trends?
- Do you have advanced skills using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite?
- Do you have excellent analytical and negotiation skills?
- Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions?
- Are you able to provide strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of consistency?
