Grow your career with Trelleborg and start shaping the industry from the inside.We are looking for SAP ABAP Developer to join our IT Innovation Campus at Bangalore location. The position will be responsible for the management of the SAP environment. His/her responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment & transport management.Your Responsibilities:- Working with core ABAP concepts which includes building reports using ALV, Function modules, dialog programming, BDC/BAPI, Data dictionary, Performance Tuning and Object-Oriented programming. - Implement and support on Customer exits, BADIs and Enhancements. - Design and Support Smartforms / SAP Scripts. - Implement and Support with Language translations in Smartforms and Reports. - Document Unit test scripts and technical specifications. - Work closely with SAP functional consultant to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality. - Support business analysts in debugging custom development objects and standard programs - Understand business requirements, evaluate alternatives, and consult the functional business analysts on the most appropriate technical implementation approach.What You'll Bring:- Degree in an IT related discipline e.g. Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent - Minimum of 5-7 years hands-on development in ABAP and ABAP OO - Must have expertise in core ABAP which includes reports using ALV, Data dictionary, dialog programming, BDC/BAPI, Customer exits, BADIs and Enhancements, Smart forms / SAP Scripts and Object-Oriented programming - Knowledge of using common SAP interface technologies (RFC/BAPI, ALE/IDOC, Webservices/XML) and IDOC Error Handling - Any exposure to ABAP on HANA, OData and SAP Netweaver Gateway would be beneficial - Strong understanding of the SAP software toolset and familiar with SAP Systems concepts, practices and proceduresWhy Work with Us?At Trelleborg, your career progression and personal development are of utmost importance to us.
