Job Summary :We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (Premium/Emerging 3 level) with 6- 9 years of experience in advanced data modeling and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in relational, dimensional, and analytical data models, coupled with deep knowledge of metadata management, semantic modeling, and enterprise data architecture. This role requires working on large-scale, global data platforms while driving data modeling standards, governance, and best practices across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and optimize data models for OLTP and OLAP systems.- Develop and manage robust SQL scripts to support enterprise data platforms.- Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure effective metadata management and semantic modeling.- Implement and enforce data governance practices using tools like Alation and Collibra.- Contribute to data warehousing strategies, including history handling, transformations, and integration with large datasets.- Document processes, standards, and best practices to support scalable enterprise data architecture.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when Skills :- Strong expertise in Data Modeling (OLTP & OLAP systems).- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Teradata.- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER Studio).- Knowledge of Metadata Management & Semantic Modeling.- Familiarity with Data Governance tools (Alation, Collibra).- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, history handling, and Excellent communication and documentation Skills :- Python programming.- Experience with Informatica.- Exposure to data cataloging, lineage, and governance frameworks.- Understanding of multi-fact modeling and complex enterprise data architecture (ref:hirist.tech)
