Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) :

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Design, build, and maintain robust, automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and deployment processes.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, ensuring consistency, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities.

- Cloud Resource Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and costs across development, staging, and production environments.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Implement and manage containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.

- Monitoring, Logging & Alerting : Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve production issues.

- Automation & Scripting : Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.

- Security & Compliance : Implement DevSecOps principles, ensuring security best practices are integrated into every stage of the SDLC and maintaining compliance standards.

- Collaboration & Mentorship : Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level support for production systems, participating in on-call rotations as needed and driving root cause analysis for incidents.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 6-10 years of progressive experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.

- Cloud Platforms : Expert-level proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- CI/CD Tools : Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Strong proficiency with Terraform or Ansible (CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef are a plus).

- Containerization : In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Scripting : Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Operating Systems : Solid understanding of Linux administration; Windows Server experience is a plus.

- Monitoring & Logging : Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, DataDog, or Azure Monitor.

- Version Control : Expert-level proficiency with Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure Repos).

- Networking : Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs).

- DevSecOps : Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps Skills (Added Advantage) :

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD for databases.

- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional).

- Experience with Chaos Engineering principles
