Position Objective :

We are looking for a highly experienced QA Engineer with strong Quality Assurance expertise. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in manual testing, good exposure to automation tools, and a proactive mindset to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be expected to work independently, think critically, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business requirements.

- Understand and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Perform UI, API, and database testing (preferably with MongoDB).

- Identify, log, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Utilize automation tools (any tool knowledge is acceptable) to aid testing processes as needed.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

- Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

- Work independently with minimal supervision while being available during US Eastern Time Zone morning hours.

Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement :

- Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

- Strong expertise in manual testing.

- Should have good knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

- Can understand business requirements and translate them into thorough test scenarios.

- Thinks critically to identify edge cases and potential failure points.

- Good knowledge of automation and familiarity with any automation tool- Not framework-level knowledge required.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Solid experience in API testing, database testing (preferably MongoDB), and UI testing.
