Job Title: Assistant Director

Location: Noida Sector 16A

Role Overview:

The Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for overseeing the shoot process of AAFT Online under

the guidance and direction of the HOD. This role includes managing and ensuring smooth studio and offsite operations.

The AD will direct videographers on multi-camera setups, lighting, set design, and actor preparation under the guidance and direction of the HOD. Also, the AD will oversee studio maintenance, equipment responsibility, manage footage effectively and ensure all aspects of the shoot are under control.

Key Responsibilities:


• Pre-Production Coordination:

o Handle pre-production logistics

o Organize and manage all pre-production tasks, including content sorting and preparation.


• Production Management:

o Oversee and organise studio operations, including lighting, set design, and actor preparation

under the guidance of the Head of Department (HOD).

o Manage multi-camera filming ensuring high-quality footage and smooth transitions.

o Guide cameramen during shoots to ensure sound, lighting, and focus are properly controlled

according to the direction of the HOD

o Handle studio maintenance and equipment responsibility, ensuring all equipment is in good

working condition and ready for use.

o Ensure all aspects and requests for the shoot are under control, adhering to the direction of the

Head of Department (HOD).


• Footage Management:

o Ensure proper storage and handling of recorded content.

Qualifications:


• Experience:

o Proven experience in production coordination and assistant directing.

o Familiarity with multi-camera setups and production equipment.


• Skills:

o Organizational skills for managing pre-production and studio operations.

o Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with diverse teams and

stakeholders.

o Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic production

environment.


• Technical Knowledge:

o Understanding of lighting, set design, cameras,

o Knowledge of studio maintenance, equipment management, and post-production processes.

Working Days: 6 working days with Sunday Off
