Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer with experience in the banking or financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business and regulatory data requirements, extracting and transforming data from diverse sources (databases/flat files), and building reports or models using SAS. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, risk teams, and data engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze data requirements from TED documents / BRDs / regulatory guidelines.

- Develop and maintain SAS programs to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources.

- Work with flat files, relational databases (SQL), and data warehouses.

- Generate and automate reports for regulatory, risk, or MIS purposes.

- Assist in building and validating risk and compliance models (e.g., LCR, NSFR, ECL).

- Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and ensure accurate reporting.

- Optimize data flows and enhance data quality and consistency.

- Support UAT and production deployments of SAS jobs and reports.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL.

- Experience with SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, or SAS Visual Analytics is a plus.

- Ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data manipulations.

- Good understanding of banking and financial domain, especially risk, treasury, or regulatory reporting.

- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like Basel III, IFRS 9, CCAR, etc., is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
