About the Role :Were looking for a talented and proactive Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join our growing eCommerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and enhancing digital commerce experiences on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong frontend and backend development skills, a deep understanding of SFCC architecture, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable eCommerce solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), focusing on both frontend and backend customization.- Implement features using Vanilla JavaScript, SCSS, and the BEM naming methodology for clean, modular CSS architecture.- Work with the SFCC Page Designer to build reusable components and manage content slots, content assets, and templates.- Leverage the dept_base cartridge or similar foundational cartridges to adhere to scalable architecture and best practices.- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver features on time and to spec.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development standards and workflows.- Provide clear daily updates, communicate blockers proactively, and raise red flags when deliverables are at risk.- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, proactively offering improvements or alternative approaches.- (Optional) Contribute to A/B testing setups using tools like Optimizely or Sitespect (a bonus but can be learned on the job).Required Skills & Qualifications :- 5+ years of overall professional development experience.- 1.5+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including back-end and front-end development.- Strong understanding of Vanilla JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.- Proficient in SCSS, with familiarity in the BEM CSS methodology.- Experience working with the dept_base cartridge or similar SFCC base architecture.- Experience building Page Designer components and working with SFCC content slots and assets.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset comfortable working independently and within a team.- Excellent communication skills able to provide concise daily updates and raise issues in a timely manner.- Ability to understand client requirements and recommend practical, scalable solutions.Nice to Have :- Experience with Optimizely or Sitespect for A/B testing.- Salesforce certifications (e.g., B2C Commerce Developer) are a plus.- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.- Experience in an agency or multi-client environment.
