Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Tableau Administrator to join our team and play a critical role in managing and maintaining our Tableau environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of Tableau administration, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user access.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Tableau Server/Cloud environment, including user access, security configurations, data sources, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies and access controls for user roles and data access.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau server/cloud performance issues, resolving technical problems promptly.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting and analytical needs, providing technical support and guidance.
  • Create and manage Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data sources, ensuring high-quality visualizations and data integrity.
  • Design and develop advanced Tableau reports and visualizations to support specific business requirements.
  • Manage data refreshes and schedules, ensuring data is up-to-date and reliable.
  • Track user activity and audit logs for potential security breaches.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate Tableau usage and performance metrics.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, data analysts, and business users.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Tableau Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau Server and administration.
  • Expertise in user management, security, and permissions within Tableau.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Tableau server issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like TABCMD and TABADMIN.
