Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure ContainerOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized application deployment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure container operations, networking, storage, RBAC, Helm charts, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available container-based solutions on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for containerized workloads.
  • Implement and manage container operations including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and manage Azure networking, storage, and RBAC policies to ensure secure cluster operations.
  • Package, configure, and deploy applications using Helm charts.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AKS, networking, and other Azure services.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of containerized workloads.
  • Troubleshoot AKS cluster, networking, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD workflows.
  • Ensure security best practices, compliance, and governance in AKS environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure container operations.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Azure networking, storage, RBAC, and identity management.
  • Hands-on experience with Helm for application packaging and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
  • Understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, microservices architecture).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) in Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and container security tools.
