JD – Mainframe MQ AdminExperience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirementDefining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records etc..)Maintain and adopt the new pagesets & bufferpool according to the application growth in MQKnowledge on the MQ queue sharing and MQ clustering to handle the queue managers and its components.Strong knowledge on MQ queue manager creation/migration and daily health check and dead letter queue process automationGood understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS, DB2, IMS..) and third party application servers.Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyzeNice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and COBOL.IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems, SW downloads, EscalationsProvide 24x7 after hours on-call support as required for products supported by the teamExp Range: 7 To 12Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad
