Salesforce Data Migration Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Salesforce Data Migration Specialist to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our Salesforce data landscape.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and data migration best practices to design, develop, and implement solutions that ensure the seamless flow of information and streamline our business Perform all aspects of data migration projects, including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, and loading into Salesforce.

- Design and implement robust data models and database architecture within the Salesforce platform.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data structures and processes related to both Group Salesforce and Unity Salesforce.

- Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation, including system design documents, data models, and comprehensive testing plans.

- Conduct thorough unit testing, participate in system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data integrity and system functionality.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements based on data analysis and user feedback.

- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with training and promoting user adoption of new systems and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum 7+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer or Data Migration Specialist.

- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud functionalities.

- Strong understanding of database concepts, with experience in SQL querying and scripting languages.

- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools like Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

- Experience with data migration tools is a plus.

- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization techniques (workflow rules, validation rules, triggers).

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and efficient technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- (Optional, but a plus) Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer.
