About the Role: Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Data Entry Team Lead with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the data entry field. The successful candidate will oversee a large team of data entry professionals, manage operations across shifts, and ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks. This role also involves close coordination with the product team to optimize planning and drive process improvements, ensuring the team operates at an optimal level with the right infrastructure in place.





Shift Management:

  • Supervise data entry operations across multiple shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity.
  • Coordinate shift activities, ensuring that members are available for early logins or extended hours if needed to meet deadlines.
  • Avoid single points of failure by ensuring backups for critical resources and tasks.
  • Performance and Productivity:
  • Drive and monitor key performance metrics, ensuring targets are met consistently across shifts.
  • Walk the floor during shifts, answering team members' questions and resolving doubts to ensure work is completed without interruptions.
  • Quickly make decisions to resolve issues, ensuring there are no missed deliverables.
  • Conduct quick training sessions and team bonding exercises to ensure high engagement and productivity.

Crisis and Escalation Management:

  • Handle escalations and floor issues, such as technical problems, employee health concerns, or safety issues.
  • Ensure effective communication during crises, and provide immediate solutions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Resource Utilization and Infrastructure Management:
  • Optimize resource allocation, ensuring employees are fully occupied and adding value.
  • Ensure that all necessary infrastructure is in place, such as providing appropriate systems, internet access, and creating login credentials for accounts before going live.
  • Work with IT to ensure all technical needs are addressed, ensuring employees can work at optimum efficiency.
  • Coordination with Product Team & Forecasting:
  • Coordinate with the product team to plan well in advance for forecasting and resource planning.
  • Ensure that data entry operations are aligned with future product launches or updates, preventing any last-minute resource shortages.
  • Drive the team to provide feedback on product-level changes or improvement points, assess the impact, and ensure closure of these points based on the impact.


Reporting:

  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports on performance (Target vs Achieved, Error Reports).
  • Share overall DI team performance with management and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Training and Development:
  • Organize training sessions for both new and existing employees using process-related PPTs and KT (Knowledge Transfer) documents.
  • Ensure timely updates of training materials and documentation for all accounts.
  • Empower validators to take emergency training sessions when required.
  • Validator Updates and Process Improvements:
  • Track uploaded and remaining file counts on an hourly basis to ensure efficient processing.
  • Identify frequent mistakes and implement corrective measures, providing KT sessions when needed.
  • Conduct dip checks on processed files to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Enhancement and Feedback Loop:
  • Develop new strategies and SOPs to enhance the efficiency of the DI team.
  • Encourage the team to identify process improvements and provide feedback for product-level changes, driving these suggestions to closure.
  • Work closely with the product team to implement improvements, ensuring any identified inefficiencies are eliminated.
  • Team Roster and Leave Management:
  • Maintain the team roster across shifts
  • Manage employee leave and ensure there is no disruption to daily operations.


Required Skills:



  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Lead in a data entry or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams (40+ members) across multiple shifts.
  • Ability to quickly address issues and escalations, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including product and development teams.
  • Proficiency in planning, forecasting, and driving operational improvements based on team feedback.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on driving performance and ensuring high standards of work.
