Product Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-orientedSIT Product Testerwith 3–6 years of experience incorporate loan productswithin the Indian banking or fintech ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a solid functional understanding of loan workflows and hands-on expertise inSystem Integration Testing (SIT)with skills inAPI validation . You will be responsible for ensuring that the product functions as intended across integrated systems, with accurate data flow, compliance with lending norms, and smooth interactions between modules and third-party services. Key Responsibilities: PerformSystem Integration Testing (SIT)for corporate loan modules, validating interactions across systems like LOS (Loan Origination System), LMS (Loan Management System), CBS (Core Banking System), and external APIs (credit bureau, KYC, etc.). Review business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs) to developcomprehensive SIT test cases and test scenarioscovering end-to-end business flows. Conduct thoroughfunctional testingof loan workflows including origination, underwriting, sanction, disbursement, repayment, and closure. ExecuteAPI testingusing tools such asPostman , validating request/response, headers, status codes, data integrity, and error handling. Validate data consistency and correctness acrossupstream and downstream systems , including UI and touchbase middleware, and backend/database layers. Identify integration issues, raise detaileddefect reportswith clear reproduction steps, and work closely with development teams to resolve them. Participate ininterface validationwith third-party systems such as credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian), CKYC, GSTN, and PAN services etc. Ensure compliance withRBI guidelinesand internal credit policy rules in all tested functionalities. Document and maintaintest artifactssuch as test cases, results, defect logs, and traceability matrices. Supporttest data preparation , including configuration of corporate loan products and account scenarios. Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and developers to clarify requirements and align on expected outcomes. Participate indaily stand-ups, defect triage meetings , and provide SIT status updates proactively.
