About the Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Prompt Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to work on cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. The role involves designing, optimizing, and evaluating prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs), while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.Candidates with experience in Java will be given preference.Key Responsibilities:Design, craft, and optimize high-quality prompts for Generative AI models to achieve accurate and relevant outputs.Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate AI-generated responses into applications.Evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, coherence, alignment, and overall performance.Experiment with various prompt patterns, structures, and techniques to continuously improve response quality.Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt templates, use cases, experiments, and results.Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in GenAI, LLMs, AI tooling, and prompt engineering best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:1–4 years of experience in AI, NLP, prompt engineering, or software development.Hands-on experience in writing and optimizing prompts for LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar models.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and understanding of programming logic.Proficiency in Java or another programming language (preferred).Solid understanding of GenAI concepts including context windows, temperature, system prompts, and model behavior.Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.Good to Have:Experience with tools like LangChain, LLMOps frameworks, or prompt testing platforms.Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud-based AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, etc.).Understanding of AI model integration in production systems.
