Role Description :

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader and mentor, guiding your team to deliver robust and scalable software solutions. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, ensuring code quality, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our software development projects.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to team members.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team.

- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Design and architect robust and scalable software solutions.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements.

- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.

- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality code.

- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Optimize application performance and scalability.

- Plan and manage software development projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

- Define project milestones and track progress.

- Identify and mitigate project risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API

specifications, and user guides.

- Promote and enforce coding standards and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.

- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, development processes, and team performance.

- Participate in post-mortem reviews and implement lessons learned.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in one or more core programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Go, etc.).

- Deep understanding of language-specific frameworks and libraries.

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency in cloud-native development and microservices architecture.

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.

- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

- Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

- Understanding of API security, versioning, and documentation.

- Deep understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered, etc.).

- Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).

- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Experience with version control (Git).

- Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

- Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.

- Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

- Ability to lead Agile ceremonies and drive iterative development.

- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.

- Experience with secure coding and vulnerability management.

- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
