Role : SIP Developer

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications for SIP-based functionalities.

- Analyze and manipulate SIP messages (headers, payloads) to achieve call routing, feature implementation, and other functionalities.

- Leverage FreeSWITCH and other VoIP technologies (TCP/IP, SIP/RTP, SIPREC) for application development.

- Implement multithreading and socket programming techniques for efficient network communication.

- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Collaborate with engineers and other teams to design and implement complex SIP solutions.

- Troubleshoot and debug SIP applications using Linux tools and techniques.

- Document code clearly and concisely for future reference.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SIP protocols and VoIP technologies.

- Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and stakeholders regarding technical specifications and project progress.

Qualifications :

Skill Set for SIP Developer :

SIP Expertise :

- 5-8 years of experience with the SIP protocol (RFC 3261)

- In-depth understanding of SIP functionalities

- Ability to analyze and manipulate SIP messages

Development Skills :

- Hands-on experience in C++ application design and development

- Experience with FreeSWITCH and other VoIP development tools

- Unit test oriented software development

Linux Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of the Linux programming platform

- Proficiency with Linux tools for analysis, debugging, and tracing

Network & Telephony :

- Experience with Multithreading and Socket programming

- Understanding of network protocols relevant to VoIP (TCP/IP, RTP, SDP)

- Knowledge of VoIP technologies like SIPREC

- Hands-on experience in C++ application design and development

- Strong knowledge of the Linux programming platform and tools for analysis, debugging, and tracing (e.g., strace, gdb)

- Experience in Multithreading and Socket programming

- Development experience with FreeSWITCH

- Understanding of related VoIP technologies (TCP/IP, SIP/RTP, SIPREC)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
