Job Title: Head of Engineering

Location: Hyderabad (On-Site)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 6 PM IST

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive


Technology Skills

  • Hands on coding skills are a must for this position
  • Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring framework
  • MYSQL / Oracle database experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning
  • Experience in using Twilio for texting and call management and SenGrid for emails
  • Analyze, build and design management reports using data warehouse principles.
  • AWS - Configuration / Deployment / Performance tuning
  • Rest based API principles and design
  • Hands-on experience with JWT based security
  • Java / Spring jobs & Batch processing.
  • Experience in integrating external systems using rest API's
  • Knowledge of Angular JS a plus
  • Ability to quickly design, prototype and follow architecture guidelines


Management Skills

  • Work with the BA team as needed to groom stories and ensure sprint deliverables are on track
  • Good communication skills / team player
  • Ability to manage people with different skill skill levels and eccentricity
  • Provide technical guidance to team members on their deliverables
  • Establish development and testing excellence centers to improve quality of product
  • Work with UI/UX designer from tech perspective to simplify and create a better UX
  • Adopt and bring in new technologies to develop a cutting edge next generation product
  • Participate in product road map discussions and drive technologies towards ease of use and increased customer adoption
  • Ability to work on proof of concept ideas to evaluate feasibility and ROI
  • Hire / motivate and do performance reviews at the end of year for tech team
  • Understand customer pain points and proactively bring solutions to the table
  • Collaborate with the support head to quickly address production issues and help support staff provide timely resolution to tickets


Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience
  • Bachelors Degree and Master Degree in IT/Technology/Management is a must

We are poised to become the singular platform for operations in fitness studios with a goal to expand our services into other business domains in the future.
