Detailed Job Description for Network Ops - Checkpoint, Firewall, WAF

  • Web Application Firewall Expert will be responsible for ensuring the security and smooth operation of the Checkpoint Firewall and WAF infrastructure.
  • closely with development and infrastructure teams to integrate the WAF seamlessly into existing and/or new web application environments.
  • experience on deploying, managing and upgrading Checkpoint Firewall and WAF on GCP VMs
  • network performance monitoring.
  • Tier 1/2 support for the day-to-day running of the Network, Internet Services, Load-balancing and Checkpoint Firewall Services.
  • maintain and troubleshoot Checkpoint WAF policies for new and existing web applications
  • troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • to perform penetration tests of systems/applications.
  • skill/experience in developing Checkpoint WAF policies
  • ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations.
  • Network Operations Engineer will offer Level 2 and Level 3 Network Support that includes operation and change management.
  • professional will examine, evaluate and monitor the incoming network change requests.
  • in a 24x7 call-out as per ROTA.


What You will bring

  • years overall experience in multiple cloud environments
  • 2-3 years Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience and in a client-facing role.
  • for ensuring the security and smooth operation of the WAF infrastructure.
