Data Governance Specialist – Collibra

CollibraScope : Critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data governance processes and solutions, particularly leveraging the Collibra platform – catalogue (mandatory) and DQ.Technical Expertise · High level of proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities, including workflow development and operational model design. · Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes to enhance data discoverability, accessibility, and governance. · Proven experience supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. · Proficiency in Collibra workflow development, including custom workflow creation and optimization. · Familiarity with integration architecture to enable seamless interoperability between Collibra and other enterprise systems. · Collibra Ranger Certification · Collibra DQ expertise · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis; SQL, HTMLFunctional Responsibilities · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data stewardship and ownership roles. · Manage metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the enterprise. · Implement and manage metadata cataloging processes to improve data discoverability and usability. · Utilize Collibra to drive data governance activities and provide training to teams to enhance adoption and maturity. · Lead or assist in project management activities related to data governance initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment. · Provide expert guidance and support to metadata stewards, ensuring compliance with governance policies. · Conduct training sessions, workshops, and demos for various stakeholders, including senior management, to promote data governance awareness and adoption. · Facilitate technical architecture discussions and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards.
