Informatica BDM Developer

Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica BDM for large-scale data integration and processing.- Develop scalable and reusable mappings, transformations, and workflows for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.- Work with big data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Hive, HDFS, Spark, etc.) to integrate Informatica BDM solutions into enterprise data platforms.- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand requirements, data models, and transformation rules.- Optimize mappings and workflows to ensure high performance and low-latency processing across distributed systems.- Develop data pipelines to ingest, cleanse, transform, and load data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage, etc.- Implement best practices for error handling, data quality checks, and metadata management within ETL processes.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and manage version control for Informatica workflows.- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and production support for developed workflows.- Create detailed technical documentation of mappings, workflows, and architecture for long-term Skills :- Strong experience in Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) development.- Proficiency in ETL design and development, including mappings, transformations, workflows, and performance tuning.- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, Sqoop, etc.- Strong SQL skills and experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.)- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data integration best practices.- Proficiency in performance optimization of Informatica mappings and workflows.- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management Skills :- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native data solutions.- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or related cloud ETL tools.- Knowledge of scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, etc.) for automation.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.- Experience with real-time/streaming data processing (Kafka, Flink, :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 4 - 7 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 23 years in Informatica BDM.- Proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex data integration Attributes :- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
