About the Role :We are seeking an experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our IT team as a freelancer or contractor.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performing Magento-based eCommerce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and superior user experience.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 websites, extensions, and custom modules.- Customize Magento themes and front-end components for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules.- Optimize site performance, database queries, and caching for high-speed performance.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing Magento solutions.- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.- Stay updated with the latest Magento releases, patches, and emerging eCommerce trends.Required Skills & Experience :- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.- Good understanding of Magento architecture, themes, and custom module development (ref:hirist.tech)
