Today were a leading kidswear label dressing a generation in functional ethnic wear which is made for play built to last and designed with love.From intricate motifs to perfect fits we create pieces that celebrate your childs individuality and cultural heritage.Your Role: Should be responsible for drawings design details specifications and overall sample development. Conducting market research to identify new trends fabrics and techniques and seeking design inspiration. Creating production sketches for development packages to final tech pack creation. Develop new design concepts/collections based on consumer needs and tastes. Managing the design process from conception through to final styling. Reviewing products for style and fit iterating and delivering the right fit. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes make edits to lines and create new concepts. Selecting fabrics and trims in collaboration with the sourcing team. Being prompt and actively communicating with the pattern master and the tailors and embroiderers sampling team to develop samples as per brief/sketch.MustHave: Degree in design or fine arts or college degree in fashion design or related field. 1.5 years of design experience. Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and fit. Ability to communicate clearly using fabric/measurements/garment construction terminology and written and verbal skills. Must be able to multitask prioritize work on a continual basis and work with limited supervision Knowledge of different types of fabrics surface techniques and basic construction knowhow.Software Skills Required: Strong knowledge of Illustrator Photoshop Hand / digital sketching and illustration ability to communicate design concepts Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
