Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore, with over 15000 crores of assets under management, and deep focus on alpha generation. We are passionate about finding alternative investment opportunities that can deliver superior risk-return characteristics.


We operate across various alternative spaces like Equities, Commodities, Structured Credit, Fixed Income, Quant, and Infrastructure. Our products span across various investment structures such as NBFC (ND-SI), AIF (Cat II & III), PMS, RIA and Gift City.

Our team consists of 200+ people who are vastly experienced across domestic and global hedge funds and financial institutions and have strong academic credentials. We are strongly performance driven looking for individuals who share a similar ethos.


Location : Dadar, Mumbai.

Qualification & Background :

1. You will be joining our team of highly skilled professionals on the Commodity desk, contributing to the development of our cutting-edge trading platform.

2. In-depth understanding of option Greeks and option pricing models, strong mathematical skills, and a robust grasp of probability, statistics, and signal processing.

3. Excellent programming skills in either Python or C/C++/C#.

4. Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics & Computing, Statistics, or Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical) from IITs/ISI/NITs preferred.

5. 2-5 years of prior experience in developing and deploying high/mid/low frequency trading strategies is an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Research and implement mid and low frequency quantitative trading strategies.

2. Collaborate with senior strategists and portfolio managers to back-test various ideas and trading strategies targeting high risk-adjusted returns.

3. Implement models in live trading environments.

4. Develop and refine models, including AI/ML applications.

5. Improve execution logic, analyse slippages and impact costs, and identify opportunities to enhance P/L.

6. Manage and optimize databases.

Compensation :

Compensation packages will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will include a significant performance-linked bonus component. High performers can expect to create substantial long-term value for themselves within our organization.
