Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Video Editor with Nick and Carrie. The Video Editor will be responsible for video production, editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and graphics. While the company is based in Sydney Australia, this role is flexible for remote work.


Qualifications

  • Must have experience in editing comedy/ reality show-style videos, including fast-paced cutting, comedic timing, and the ability to enhance narratives with visual storytelling techniques
  • Must have access to a computer with the capability to handle and process large 4K video files
  • Experience in adding and integrating multiple sound effects to enhance video content and create a dynamic viewing experience
  • Ability to colour grade and apply motion graphics to create vibrant, stylized looks and dynamic visual effects that complement comedic or reality show-style content
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Graphics design skills
  • Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling
  • Experience in creating engaging social media content
  • Knowledge of current digital trends and platforms
