Description :Now Hiring: Data Engineer (Python, PySpark, Palantir Foundry) | Pune | Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid | US ClientVopais is looking for experienced Data Engineers to join a high-impact team in Pune, supporting a major client in the utilities/energy sector. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on leadership in building robust, enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics on the latest data platforms.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and optimize ETL data pipelines using Python & PySpark- Ensure end-to-end data quality, governance, and compliance- Collaborate with solution architects and analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions- Work extensively with Palantir Foundry (pipelines, ontology, data modeling, integration)- Manage and transform complex data from multiple sources (structured/unstructured)- Performance tuning and troubleshooting of big data applications- Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deploymentRequirements :- 3 to 10 years of relevant data engineering experience (preferably in utilities/energy or similar domains)- Advanced programming skills in Python- Extensive PySpark and big data handling experience- Strong, hands-on Palantir Foundry expertise (pipelines, ontology, integration)- Excellent SQL, data modeling, and problem-solving skills- Good communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration abilitiesNice to have :- Cloud data services: AWS, Azure, or GCP- DevOps (CI/CD) for data engineering- Visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Palantir dashboards- Domain experience in utilities/energyWhy Vopais :- Be at the forefront of Palantir Foundry-driven solutions in energy/utilities- Grow with a collaborative and innovation-focused team- Hybrid work (3 days/week in Pune office, client site as required) (ref:hirist.tech)
