Description : Work Hours : 12 PM - 9 PM IST.About the Role : We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and a solid understanding of backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and database management.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications and services.Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions using Node.js (must-have).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.- Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient communication between services.- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.- Manage and optimize databases - MongoDB and PostgreSQL.- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and delivery.- Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling backend services.- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices across the engineering team.Required Skills & Experience : - 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.- Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.- Strong understanding of databases - MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL (SQL).- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) - EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).- Solid understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and microservices architecture.- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.- Working knowledge of Golang is an added advantage.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Good to Have : - Hands-on experience with Golang development.- Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management.- Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and observability.
