About the Role :


We are looking for a seasoned Mobile App Developer with strong hands-on experience across Android, iOS, and cross-platform frameworks (Flutter and/or React Native). You will architect, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver excellent user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid setup, can take ownership, and enjoys collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to ship scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter and/or React Native with platform-specific integrations where needed.

- Build native modules or bridge code when performance or OS-specific features require going beyond cross platform capabilities (Android: Kotlin/Java; iOS: Swift/Objective-C).

- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into performant, maintainable mobile features.

- Architect scalable, modular, and testable codebases following best practices (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, state management patterns).

- Integrate with RESTful/GraphQL APIs, real-time services, push notifications, analytics, and third-party SDKs.

- Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices, OS versions, and edge conditions.

- Write unit, integration, and UI tests to safeguard quality; participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, automated distribution (TestFlight/Play Store internal testing), and release automation.

- Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize applications for memory, battery, and startup time.

- Stay up to date with mobile platform changes and evaluate new libraries, tools, and techniques to improve development velocity and app quality.

- Implement feature flagging, A/B testing hooks, and graceful degradation for inconsistent network/device environments.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies; contribute to technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 4 to 8 years of professional experience building mobile applications.

- Strong expertise in Flutter and/or React Native, with at least one production app shipped and maintained.

- Proficiency with native development on Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) for deeper integrations or performance-critical modules.

- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., BLoC, Provider, Redux, MVVM, etc.).

- Experience integrating with backend services (REST/GraphQL), authentication flows, local storage (SQLite, Secure Storage), and offline support.

- Familiarity with state management, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming paradigms.

- Experience with code versioning (Git), branching strategies, and collaborative workflows.

- Hands-on with mobile CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Codemagic, Bitrise).

- Strong debugging skills and ability to use profiling tools to debug memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, etc.

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a partially remote team.

- Availability to join within 30 days of offer acceptance.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred) :


- Experience with native module/plugin development for Flutter or custom bridges in React Native.

- Knowledge of app store submission processes, compliance, and versioning strategies.

- Experience with analytics (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel), crash reporting (Sentry, Crashlytics), and feature flagging systems.

- Exposure to design systems, accessibility, internationalization (i18n), and localization.

- Familiarity with automated UI testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, XCTest, Flutter Driver, Detox).

- Prior experience working in startup environments or fast-paced agile teams.

Performance Indicators (What Success Looks Like) :

- Timely delivery of stable mobile features with few regressions.

- High app store ratings / reduced crash rates / improved performance metrics.

- Clean, well-documented code with active participation in peer reviews.

- Low user-reported bugs and high feature adoption.

- Effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
