Job Description:


We are looking for a passionate and creative UI Designer to craft visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces for our web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and developers to ensure that every element of our platform is optimized for usability and aesthetics. As a remote UI Designer, you will be responsible for turning wireframes, mockups, and user flows into polished designs that resonate with our users and enhance their overall experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the product and UX teams to understand user needs, translating them into clean, modern, and intuitive UI designs.
  • Design interactive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms, adhering to Buddy Deals' branding and design guidelines.
  • Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistent and scalable design patterns.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and interaction flows.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs and maintain high design fidelity during the development process.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the highest quality of UI across the platform.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and apply them to your work.
  • Iterate on feedback from stakeholders, customers, and team members to continuously improve the design and user experience.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote working environment.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a user-centered mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working in e-commerce or with consumer-focused digital products.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
  • Understanding of UX principles and research methods.
