Job Location: Mumbai

Experience Range: 4-8 Years

Job Description :

  1. Good understanding of design, implementation and troubleshooting for Commvault backup technologies and Backup Job configuration
  2. In-depth understanding of day-day backup administration tasks such as management and monitoring of jobs, reporting, escalation of failed jobs, scheduling adhoc backups, capacity utilization, maintaining audit trails etc
  3. Escalation of failed backup jobs to respective stake holders (Backup Team & Customer) till closure.
  4. Should be able to co-ordinate with respective OEMs and Backup Admin Team to ensure SLAs and during break fix
  5. Performing emergency data and system recovery from backups for Linux, Unix, Virtual Machine, Database and Windows servers
  6. Provide 24x7 IT operations support in a team on a rotation and on-call basis
  7. Should be proficient in handling large and heterogeneous setup with knowledge on troubleshooting of issues
  8. Should possess good communication skills
  9. Backup Jobs Status Reporting with Analysis to Senior Management
