Proso is hiring for its US client; this will be a remote full-time opportunity. Our client is a bootstrapped SaaS company that integrates with over 60+ marketing data sources, helping digital marketing agencies and in-house brands build reports and dashboards for their clients. They are verified partners of Google, Meta, Pinterest, Shopify, Semrush, and more, and are expanding their arsenal of marketing data sources for integration.

With their new and improved reporting capabilities, they offer robust data blending and a wide range of visualizations and customization on their reporting platform. They work closely with marketing agencies to help build in-house solutions, ranging from tracking dashboards and custom integrations to CRM and notifications through workflow software. They are profitable and growing, with over 1000+ digital marketing agencies using their platform.

DEPARTMENT BRIEF:

The engineering team works primarily with Ruby on Rails and React-Redux to develop software that caters to a wide range of customers. They also use several modules in Python and Java for other services as needed. The work pace involves completing the SDLC (design, development, and delivery) in less than two weeks. They have a robust deployment pipeline and release to production daily.

Developers are empowered to work closely with product and customer-facing teams to release features that best suit customer needs. The focus is on building and owning features end-to-end, which involves design, development, and constant enhancements of released features. Code reviews, unit tests, and performance monitoring are pivotal during development to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Aspiring candidates will get a chance to work on challenging problems, top-notch UX, and a wide range of third-party APIs for integration. With a good customer base willing to try out new features, it is essential that code is well written, follows the best practices in web development, and is deployed for scale. Developers will also work closely with customers for adoption and provide support as needed.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Build new features into the application and own their further development.
  2. Maintain, enhance, and monitor the software, and be responsible for version upgrades.
  3. Work closely with the product team to evaluate, build, and deploy features/enhancements as requested.
  4. Build tools to streamline development processes.
  5. Follow best practices in web development, including avoiding N+1 queries, efficient database design, unit tests, and performance tests.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. B.E/B.Tech full-time fresh graduates from premier institutes or candidates with 2-3 years of web development experience.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Ruby, Python, or any other programming language suitable for web development.
  3. Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and React.
  4. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders (both internal and external).
