Description : Role : OBRM Developer (Oracle BRM)Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced OBRM Developer with 38 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore.This is a highly technical role demanding strong, hands-on expertise in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), including its core processes like Account Management, Invoicing, and Product Configuration.The ideal candidate will leverage strong development skills in C, Java, and PL/SQL to define extraction logic, implement business rules, and support data migration within the Telecom OSS/BSS domain.Primary Responsibility & Technical Competency (Must-Have OBRM) : OBRM Development and Configuration : - Demonstrate strong, hands-on developer experience in the Oracle BRM platform.- Implement and manage product configuration using Pricing Center/PDC, custom and standard Opcodes and Policy codes.- Utilize and manage BRM components including MTA (Multi-Threaded Application), Stored procedures, Pipeline, and iScripts.- Possess strong knowledge of key BRM processes : Account Management, Billing and Revenue Management processes, Invoicing, and Journals.Programming and Scripting : - Maintain Proficiency in PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, C, and Java languages for core OBRM development and integration tasks.- Should be able to extract the business rules based on reading the existing code/scripts for analysis and modification.Requirements Analysis and Design : - Possess a strong ability to gather detailed customer-specific business requirements, analyze data, and meticulously map business requirements to technical specifications.Roles and Responsibilities (Expectations from the Role) : Data Extraction and Cleansing : - Define the scope of data to be extracted and ensure all relevant data points are identified for reporting and migration.- Design the data extraction process and define necessary cleansing rules and business rules.- Define validation rules, conduct data quality checks, and coordinate with technical teams to perform unit testing and resolve issues during the data extraction process.Stakeholder and Process Management : - Work with project stakeholders to understand and prioritize the business requirements and keep them informed on the progress of scheduled and day-to-day tasks.- Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the business group, including Regulatory Requirements and business drivers.- Work closely with the Migration Transformation team to build features required to meet customer requirements.- Identifying and defining workarounds and alternate processes to meet Program objectives as per project timelines.Leadership and Mentorship : - Can Work as an individual contributor of BRM Development without any guidance from the team.- Should be interested in grooming junior associates and providing technical mentorship.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Core Product : Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Oracle BRM and its functional modules (Account Management, Billing, Invoicing).- Programming : Proficiency in C, Java, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell scripting.- Database : Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL for data handling and stored procedures.- OBRM Components : Mandatory hands-on experience with Pricing Center/PDC, Opcodes, Policy codes, MTA, Stored procedures, and Pipeline.- Analysis : Strong ability to gather requirements and map business needs to technical OBRM solutions.Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have) :- Domain : Good Knowledge and Experience in the Telecom Domain and Telecom OSS/BSS Understanding.- Experience in defining Extraction logic, cleansing rules, and sign-off criteria.Location & Experience : Location : BangaloreExperience : 38 Years (ref:hirist.tech)
