This is a hands-on architecture role suited for someone who enjoys solving complex design challenges and guiding engineering teams toward modern, serverless AWS solutions.Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design * Design and document end-to-end AWS architectures for new and existing platforms using serverless and managed services. * Architect API-driven and event-based integrations using API Gateway, Lambda, and Amazon MSK (Kafka). * Define reference architectures, IaC templates, and reusable CloudFormation modules for multi-environment consistency. * Collaborate with the AWS Security Architect to embed IAM, Cognito, WAF, and Shield into the overall application design. * Evaluate AWS services (e.g., CloudFront,EventBridge,Cloudwatch) to modernize existing workflows. Implementation & Automation * Partner with DevOps teams to automate provisioning and deployment via CloudFormation and Python/Shell scripting. * Guide development teams on implementing best practices for Lambda functions, API Gateway integration, and S3 usage. * Provide architectural governance for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure rollout. Scalability, Reliability & Cost Optimization * Define auto-scaling strategies, DR/backup architectures, and cross-region deployment patterns. * Perform architecture reviews to ensure compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework. * Continuously optimize cost, performance, and operational efficiency.
