ABOUT THIS ROLE :
As a Lead Presales Architect, you will play a strategic role in driving technical presales engagements, collaborating with clients to understand their business challenges, and designing innovative cloud-based solutions.
You will lead solutioning efforts across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and customer requirements.
This role involves working closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams, contributing to techno commercial proposals, architecture design, and technical demonstrations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead technical presales engagements, working directly with clients to understand business needs and craft tailored cloud solutions.
- Architect and design multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) for Cloud Consulting, Cloud Infra, Managed Services, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Cloud Migrations, DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase CloudThat's expertise.
- Collaborate with sales teams to prepare proposals, solution architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and SOWs for enterprise clients and public sector RFPs.
- Ensure technical solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance best practices.
- Engage with partner CSP's AWS, Azure, and GCP teams to stay updated on the latest cloud innovations and incorporate them into client solutions.
- Support post-sales teams during handover and implementation, ensuring a seamless transition from presales to execution.
- Conduct workshops, architecture reviews, and whiteboarding sessions with customers and stakeholders.
- Travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 5+ years of experience in cloud solutioning, technical presales, or cloud architecture roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in architecting scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions.
- Experience designing solutions for Cloud Migrations, DevOps, Containerization, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and Security.
- Strong experience in multi-cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Prior experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, and crafting high-quality proposals & SOWs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with CXOs, IT heads, and enterprise architects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
- Experience working with public sector clients and government tenders (preferred but not mandatory).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience in cloud cost optimization, security frameworks (CIS, NIST), and compliance (ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
