Job Opening: Associate - Legal & LiaisonCompany: ZECPL Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha Position: Associate - Legal & LiaisonAbout the RoleZECPL is seeking a proactive, diligent, and detail-oriented Associate to join our team in Bhubaneswar. This role is pivotal in managing our legal, statutory, and operational compliances. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the company and various government bodies, service providers, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and strict adherence to all regulations.Key Responsibilities● Statutory & Legal Compliance:○ Ensure timely and accurate legal and statutory compliances with regulatory bodies including RERA, BMC, BDA, and other relevant external agencies.○ Manage the process for obtaining necessary permissions, licenses, and clearances from various government departments.○ Track and ensure the timely deposit of all statutory fees and taxes.● Liaison & Coordination:○ Act as the primary point of contact and build strong working relationships with local establishments and service providers, including electricity (TPCODL), water (WATCO), and NHAI.○ Represent the company in meetings with statutory departments to address queries, resolve issues, and facilitate approvals.● Documentation & Reporting:○ Draft official correspondence, applications, and notices for outward communication.○ Assist various internal departments with the preparation and review of documents related to tenders, contracts, complaints, and compliance reports.○ Maintain a comprehensive tracking system for tenant agreements and lease renewals.● Stakeholder Management:○ Attend meetings with the Association of Owners & Allottees to support the CRM team and Management in addressing concerns and ensuring smooth community operations.● Administrative Duties:○ Track and monitor employee attendance and conveyance records using available software.Qualifications & Skills● Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.● Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a liaison, compliance, or legal support role, preferably within the real estate, infrastructure, or property management sector.● Knowledge: Demonstrable experience and an in-depth understanding of working with local statutory bodies like RERA, BMC, and BDA is essential.● Skills:○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Odia.○ Strong liaison, networking, and interpersonal skills.○ Proficient in drafting official letters and legal documents.○ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.○ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.○ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
