Senior Project Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Architect to join our team who will lead and manage architectural projects, provide design expertise, and guide the architectural team. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire architectural process, from concept development to construction completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and creative vision.

Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in architectural design
Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within architectural firms or related organizations
Excellent design and visualization skills, with the ability to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions.
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail in developing construction drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex design challenges.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities to work with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Proficient in conducting site analysis, feasibility studies, and space planning.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
Responsibilities
The following are key responsibilities but not limited to
Ensure the project meets SSA's Quality Assurance standards, applicable local or international codes, and SSA CAD standards and procedures.
Translate architectural and interior design concepts into Construction Documents, ensuring they align with specifications and BOQ items.
Coordinate subconsultant work and deliverables for each project stage, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Construction Documentation, and As-Built documentation. Maintain detailed meeting notes.
Prepare and monitor project schedules and estimated preconstruction budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Gather the firm's resources to brainstorm and solve technical problems and address technical details efficiently.
Keep the project team fully informed of any developments that may affect the design schedule, design elements, or project contract fee. Attend project meetings as directed and maintain thorough meeting notes.
Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and consultants on project-related issues as needed, ensuring smooth collaboration and issue resolution.
Assist with construction administration duties, lead project team meetings, attend construction meetings with the project manager and client, provide on-site observations during construction, monitor proposed changes, and ensure the design intent and client expectations are met.
Prepare tender documents, including drawings, specifications, BOQ, and reports. Ensure these documents accurately reflect the contract scope and design intent. Assist with the bidding and negotiation phase by preparing and distributing bidding documents, responding to questions, coordinating addendum documents, and assisting in bid review.
Maintain and expand professional capabilities through involvement in the field, participation in professional organizations, pursuing educational opportunities, and engaging in professional writing and speaking. Function as a supervisor or mentor to interns as assigned. Creation processes, ensuring alignment with our brand's voice and architectural aesthetic.
Source and select high-quality images from stock photography sites that complement textual content and reflect our design philosophy.
Edit and adapt graphics and visuals to meet platform specifications and audience preferences.
Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to conceptualize and launch social media campaigns that highlight our projects and achievements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and technologies, especially those relevant to architecture and design communities.
Analyze social media performance metrics to refine strategies and increase engagement.
