  • Proven experience in application packaging for Windows and/or other operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of software packaging best practices, versioning, and release management.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams, including end-users.
  • Ability to gather and interpret requirements, translating them into effective packaging solutions.
  • Proficiency in using packaging tools such as MSI, APP-V, or other relevant technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automation.
  • Understanding of software deployment methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security considerations in application packaging, including vulnerability assessments and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and priorities.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy in packaging documentation.

  • Deployment Tools: Practical experience using packaging tools like MSI, APP-V, or other relevant technologies for software deployment.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Track record of effectively identifying and resolving issues related to application deployment, compatibility, and packaging problems.


Beneficial:

  • Quality Assurance Testing: Previous involvement in quality assurance testing for packaged applications, ensuring functionality and resolving conflicts.
  • Security Considerations: Experience incorporating security considerations into the packaging process, including vulnerability assessments and compliance.
