Our business focuses on onboarding US vendors, selling their products on platforms like Amazon, and expanding our product offerings. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development & Vendor Acquisition to join our leadership team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our vendor base in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion, with a focus on the US market.
  • Vendor Acquisition: Identify, target, and onboard new vendors in the USA, building strong relationships with key suppliers to expand our product portfolio.
  • Revenue Generation: Leverage industry knowledge and networks to bring in high-value deals, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure profitable partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential vendor partnerships, and new revenue opportunities.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, ensuring they are aligned with the company's growth objectives and equipped to meet targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of vendor onboarding and product launches.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates to the executive team on business development progress, vendor acquisition, and revenue performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
  • Compliance & Contracts: Oversee contract negotiations and ensure all vendor agreements are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and foster relationships with potential partners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, vendor acquisition, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and establishing successful vendor partnerships in the USA.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US market, particularly in e-commerce, drop shipping, or related industries.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and build long-term relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in using data to drive decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.
  • Location Flexibility: Willingness to travel to the USA as required to meet with vendors and attend industry events.
