Responsibilities:


 Provide legal guidance and support to various departments within the organization,

including but not limited to, operations, finance, compliance, and risk management.

 Review and draft legal documents, contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure

compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the NBFC sector and provide

timely updates and recommendations to management.

 Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed and manage legal proceedings,

including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries.

 Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues and provide clear and concise

advice to stakeholders.

 Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures to ensure adherence to

regulatory requirements.

 Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and

procedures.

 Participate in due diligence activities for potential transactions, mergers, and

acquisitions.

 Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters to promote a culture of

compliance within the organization.


Requirements:


 Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; Master's degree or

specialized certification in financial law or related field preferred.

 Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on financial services and

regulatory compliance.

 In-depth knowledge of NBFC regulations, including RBI guidelines and SEBI regulations.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal

issues and provide practical solutions.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact

with internal and external stakeholders.

 Proven track record of managing legal matters and providing strategic advice to senior

management.

 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with a

strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
