Job Title: SAP ABAP with RAP Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with deep expertise in the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

This is a remote contract role open to candidates across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using SAP ABAP and RAP.
  • Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP-based services.
  • Build and optimize CDS Views, Annotations, and Behavior Definitions.
  • Work on ABAP on HANA, ensuring high performance and optimal database usage.
  • Develop and consume OData services, including both traditional and RAP-based approaches.
  • Apply Clean Core principles and implement extensibility options within S/4HANA.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders for solution design.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.
  • Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for agile development and delivery.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming.
  • Proficiency in RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
  • Expertise in ABAP OO (Object-Oriented Programming).
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development using RAP.
  • Deep understanding of CDS Views, Annotations, and Behavior Implementations.
  • Familiarity with ABAP on HANA performance optimization techniques.
  • Practical experience in developing and consuming OData Services.
  • Understanding of Clean Core concepts and S/4HANA extensibility options.
  • Experience with Unit Testing and debugging in ABAP.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and source code versioning tools like Git.
