Overview:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to assist in upgrading an existing banking web application from .NET 3 WebForms to the latest .NET version while ensuring VAPT compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in .NET migrations, security remediations, and working with legacy applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate legacy .NET WebForms applications to the latest .NET version, ensuring code compatibility.
• Refactor deprecated or obsolete features to ensure compatibility with the latest .NET framework.
• Ensure seamless integration with MSSQL Server, maintaining existing database structures, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Implement VAPT patches to resolve security non-compliance issues in the upgraded application.
• Perform unit testing, assist in UAT, and participate in security testing phases.
• Collaborate with QA, security teams, and system administrators to ensure secure and efficient deployment.

Required Skills:

• .NET Framework & .NET Core: Strong understanding of WebForms and latest .NET versions.
• C# Programming: Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• ASP.NET WebForms & MVC: Familiarity with legacy WebForms and migration best practices to newer frameworks like .NET Core/MVC.
• Frontend Technologies: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for UI adjustments as needed.
• Security & VAPT Remediation: Understanding of common web security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and how to address them.
• SQL Server (MSSQL): Experience in working with databases, ensuring smooth integration without altering schema.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for managing code changes.
