Job Purpose

The person will be responsible for driving the entire cycle of development and management of digital platform, designed for credit risk and collections, Customer Journey enhancements thereby ensuring smooth launch, market positioning and commercialisation of the various product.

Requirements

Enabling technical initiatives in the consumer banking space for Credit Risk and Collection related functionalities Enablement of existing business, enhancement of customer experience with proper control on fraud and risks. Complete responsibility for driving the entire cycle of development and management of Risk platform, Customer Journey enhancements and ancillary product launches.

Job Duties & responsibilities

Oversee the comprehensive end-to-end project lifecycle for Consumer Banking initiatives pertaining to Credit Risk and Collections within DBS India. Manage the technology pipeline for the Risk Management under Retail Lending and Credit Cards with help of the Platform lead and team. Leverage tools like JIRA and Confluence Detail out business requirements along with the risk management teams by understanding the key functionalities to be delivered and the technology applications available in the bank. Ensure the requirement documents are detailed and first time right. Design & Drive Process Improvements across E2E Customer Journey, coordinate with Tech/Ops and track & accelerate system specific enhancements & integrations Understand the key applications supporting Loans and Cards – Core Banking (Finacle/CMCP), Collection systems Understand the regulatory landscape and any changes which are issued for the Loans and Credit Cards Understand the underlying technical architecture and help out the product teams for resolving any issues to the extent possible Keep a constant focus on the builds and think in the view of the reusability of the same across the products Lead the UAT planning for the deliverables and manage the UAT execution. Report the progress to the management Work with technology delivery teams to clear out any challenges faced in UAT including technical API testing Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and define optimal customer experiences within existing customer journeys. Track the progress of the builds with the help of Technology counterparts Work with the team to do the budgeting exercise for the technology items and manage the delivery within the budget for the year Oversee customer complaint resolution and ensure timely defect management.

Required Experience

9+ years of experience post Bachelor degree with a proven track record in the financial services and/or banks, ideally in managing developments for Loans and credit cards 

Education / Preferred Qualifications

Any graduation

Technical Competencies

Proven experience mobile and net banking product management with added exposure to core banking platform. Good grasp of the agile development environment.
