The ideal candidate will go beyond the traditional Group Head role and take full ownership as a Success Manager — responsible for elevating NJ as a brand, shaping its editorial and outreach strategy, and maximizing the performance of our team and platform.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Brand GrowthDefine and execute a clear growth vision for Netflix Junkie as India’s most influential pop-culture and OTT-first content platform.Run the daily content engine selecting stories, allocating writers, building editorial calendars, experimenting with new formats, and planning coverage for major OTT drops and pop-culture events.Identify and build new content verticals, formats, and collaborations aligned with emerging entertainment trends and audience demand.2. Editorial Excellence & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of writers and editors to deliver timely, high-quality, fan-focused content.Establish strong editorial workflows, set performance KPIs, and drive accountability to ensure speed, creativity, and consistent output.Maintain editorial voice, narrative quality, and fan-first storytelling across all content formats.3. SEO, Performance & Content OptimizationDrive an SEO-led content strategy identifying high-traffic keywords, analyzing competitors , selecting Google Discover-friendly topics, preparing SEO outlines, and refreshing older articles to improve rankings.Ensure all content is optimized for visibility (titles, headers, schema, meta descriptions) and built to rank across Search and Discover.Analyze daily performance data on analytics tools to guide topic selection, identify growth opportunities, and improve writer output.4. Outreach, Partnerships & Ecosystem BuildingBuild and execute outreach strategies with celebrities, influencers, industry experts, and creators to boost content reach and brand credibility.Develop partnerships with streaming platforms, entertainment studios, PR agencies, and digital creators to expand NJ’s editorial reach, access, and authority.5. Brand Identity, Audience Growth & DistributionDefine how Netflix Junkie should look, sound, and feel across its website and social platforms, collaborating closely with design, SEO, and marketing teams.Leverage audience insights and performance metrics to refine editorial priorities, plan content tentpoles, and grow organic traffic, follower base, and engagement.Drive multi-platform distribution strategies to ensure content reaches relevant fandoms and delivers sustained audience retention.Requirements5–8 years of experience in digital media, entertainment journalism, or pop culture content management.Proven leadership experience in managing editorial teams or entertainment divisions.Strong understanding of sports-entertainment crossover trends and audience behavior.Experience in brand strategy, influencer marketing, or partnership building.Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.Creative mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.If you’re passionate about pop culture, thrive in fast-moving digital environments, and have the vision to scale a brand end-to-end, this role is your chance to shape the future of Netflix Junkie.
