This strategic role blends deep technical expertise with consultative leadership to architect scalable, secure, and compliant data platforms that power analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation.Roles & Responsibilities:Client Engagement & Solutioning- Partner with financial institutions to understand business goals and data needs - Define solution architectures and roadmaps aligned with regulatory standards - Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and technology leadersDelivery Leadership- Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines - Ensure delivery excellence across quality, timelines, and cost - Implement best practices in data governance, observability, and compliancePractice & Capability Building- Build and scale a high-performing data engineering team - Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and delivery playbooks - Infuse emerging technologies (cloud-native, data mesh, GenAI) into offeringsTeam & People Leadership- Recruit, mentor, and grow top talent in data engineering - Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity - Build succession plans and develop future leadersSkills & Experience Required:- 15+ years in data/software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles - Proven experience in financial services, payments, or banking domains - Expertise in cloud and big data ecosystems (AWS/GCP/Azure, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.) - Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills - Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR, RBI, etc.)Why Opus Technologies?Opus Technologies is shaping the future of Banking & Payments.
