Hosting Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:Would you like to join a team making a positive impact at MathWorks? IT Hosting is modernizing our infrastructure and the way we operate it. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting on-prem and cloud infrastructure. You will contribute greatly to the team, leveraging your automation skills to accelerate our work and simplify operations.Job Responsibilities: Designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting cloud solutions across private and public cloud infrastructure. Automating our infrastructure to make it more reliable and simpler to operate. Staying curious, always seeking to learn new technologies. Provide rotating on-call support for production infrastructure with occasional availability for weekend shifts as required by business needs.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.Additional Qualifications Experience with public cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and /or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM) Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) Experience working with container and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) Experience working with Source Control Management Systems (GitLab, GitHub) Experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS / Rocky). Experience with Windows server adminstration (Windows Server 2022/2025).
